1. Who we are

Pliero (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates pliero.com, a Stripe authorization analysis service. Contact: hello@pliero.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address and name, collected when you sign up via Clerk.
  • Payment data: CSV files you upload containing Stripe transaction records. These are stored encrypted and deleted after 30 days.
  • Usage data: pages visited, analysis runs initiated, and feature interactions — used to improve the product.
  • Billing data: subscription status managed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

3. How we use your data

  • To run the statistical analysis you request and return results to you.
  • To manage your account and subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (analysis complete, billing receipts).
  • To improve the product — aggregated, anonymised usage patterns only.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your payment data to train models shared across customers.

4. Data storage and security

Data is stored on Neon Postgres (EU region) with encryption at rest. Uploaded files are stored on Vercel Blob with private access and automatically deleted after 30 days. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS.

5. Data retention

Uploaded CSV files are deleted after 30 days. Derived analysis results (statistical outputs, not raw transaction data) are retained while your account is active. You can delete your data at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us.

If you are based in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pliero.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (Clerk session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from signing in.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
